Pre-purchase Pool & Spa Inspection

Looking at purchasing a new home with a pool or spa. Our Pre-purchase Pool & Spa Inspection will assist you when purchasing your new home by providing you with the confidence of knowing the condition of the pool or spa, equipment, water health and safety barrier. We provide a written report detailing the condition of:

1. Pool or spa shell (visual inspection only).

2. Equipment condition i.e. Pump, Filter, Chlorinator, Cleaners, etc.

3. Safety barrier pre-compliance inspection.

4. Water Health check.

Pool & Spa Safety Barrier Compliance Inspection

Our Pool & Spa Fence Compliance Inspection is performed by a registered Building Inspector (Pool safety). We will inspect your pool or spa safety barrier for compliance to the Building Act 1993 and Part 9A of the Building Regulations 2018. The inspection includes:

1. Undertaking an inspection of your pool or spa safety barrier to determine compliance with the applicable barrier standard.

2. Issuing certificates of pool and spa barrier compliance.

3. Issuing certificates of pool and spa barrier non-compliance.

4. Lodging certificates of pool and spa barrier non-compliance with the relevant council.

Pre-compliance Barrier consultation, inspection and report

A pre-compliance consultation will not only identify areas of non-conformance but will also allow you the time to rectify major non-conformances without potential time imposed financial penalties. It will also save you money, by giving you the time to obtain and compare multiple quotes and options. Our Pre-compliance Barrier Consultation will assess your pool or spa safety barrier for compliance to the Building Act 1993 and Part 9A of the Building Regulations 2018. The consultation includes:

1. Undertaking an inspection of your pool or spa safety barrier to determine compliance with the applicable barrier standard.

2. Providing a list area of non-conformance.

3. Provide advice and solutions to bring the safety barrier up to conformance.

4. Provide the time required to rectify non compliances. Non-compliance issues identified in a compliance inspection are required to be repaired within 60 days.

Our pre-compliance inspection, consultation and report will allow you more time, to get quotes and investigate alterntive solutions, saving time and money.
